1st Hose Limited was founded in January 2000 having previously traded under the name of Metnor Fluid Power Ltd since its opening in December 1989. Following a successful management buy out in January 2000, by the original Metnor management team the company has continued to grow and become one of the leading companies for Offshore Rig Supply Hose Solutions. Originally set up to specialise in the assembly and test of Offshore Rig Supply Hoses, the management quickly became aware that by bringing leading manufacturers together, a winning combination was achievable. The company is the exclusive UK Distributor for both Avery Hardoll Self Sealing Industrial Couplings and Goodyear Rig Supply Hose and has enjoyed long term relationships since its conception back in 1989.
1st Hose has had a registered QMS with BSI since 1994 and is accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2008. All our Bulk Hoses have been engineered to Type Approval by Lloyds Register. As the company continued to grow our product range has became diverse and allowed us to break in to other markets and we are pleased to be associated with the following leading suppliers.
